WRITING AND SOUND
I keep the lines that survive a few days.
I write a line down and leave it alone. A few days later, I read it again. If it still holds, I look for its rhythm and voice. I discard most drafts. I release the one I no longer have to explain to myself.
I write the lyrics, then look for the right tension, rhythm and colour. I explore different arrangements and ways of translating words into sound. I choose the version that stays.

Collaboration starts with a good song.
I’m interested in a small number of projects where the words, emotion and sound are moving in the same direction.
