Z Popiołów means “From the Ashes.”

How the sound was made

I wrote seven sets of lyrics and shaped them into one album. I knew where this album had to end. I guided the arrangements so the emotion and meaning of the lyrics decided which version stayed. I do not sing on this release; it is not a recording of a band session.
